“Occupational therapists EMPOWER people to overcome barriers in their everyday lives so they can DO MORE and LIVE BETTER”

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists are regulated health care professionals who can help maximize functional independence for people with a wide range of limitations.  Whether function is impaired due to injury, disability, illness, or the aging process, occupational therapists can help.  The approach to treatment for each individual is unique and occupational therapists help to determine an individualized plan to improve function in the areas of self-care, leisure and productivity.

At DG-OT our approach is unique- we think outside the box to get our clients results!  We love utilizing Participate to Learn approaches and Project Based Therapy, focusing on our client’s strengths, using meaningful activity.  We make therapy fun and interesting, and improve function by focusing on meaningful roles to our client’s.
